AfterThought – Episode 19: The Big Announcement

I think I passed the fashionably late mark with this one, dear friends. However, the wait is over and you can finally hear what that big announcement is. AfterThought: Episode 18 – A Wife Warns Against Lust

Today, dear one, my episode is one of the most serious I’ve ever recorded. If you’ve never listened to my podcast, or any podcast, before please let this one be the first one you hear. Joining me on the program is a very close friend, who is remaining anonymous due to the graphic nature of the discussion. It was due to deep concern, and love for the brethren, that she decided to come and speak publicly against pornography, lust, and adultery. This was not something she took lightly, or did gladly, but that she was compelled to do so for the glory of God. Please, my friends, if you could pray for her, for her family, and for this episode, I would be so grateful.

Also, although I say this every time, I mean it much more today, please share this. Statistically, you know someone struggling with this. You sit next to a broken hearted wife, and shame filled husband, each Sunday. Please share this episode so that leaders in the church can hear this, and so that those struggling can hear that there is actually an answer. There are ways to avoid this sin. There are plans, battle plans, that you and your family can put into place to guard your heart. You don’t have to continue to feel helpless, and you don’t have to feel alone. If you’re the wife that has dealt with this, you will be blessed by my friends story. If your the husband that has dealt with this, you will find good, Biblically sound, solid advice in this episode. If you’re the leader, elder, teacher, or pastor that has not addressed this, please listen and reconsider. AfterThought – Episode 17: New Age Infiltration with my Hubby

Dear ones, I am so sorry that it took so long for this episode to drop today. There were some technical difficulties this morning. It’s available now. In this episode my husband and I talk about the religions we grew up in, and how they resemble one another. We go into detail about the roots of the New Age movement and how it’s connected to the Word of Faith movement. I hope that this conversation will be edifying, education, and entertaining. We tried to lighten up this heavy subject to avoid moving into the Twilight Zone mood. I in no way want to feed into the modern obsession with the paranormal, but instead want to raise the alarm about these connections and the concern I have for the infiltration into the church.
