I think I passed the fashionably late mark with this one, dear friends. However, the wait is over and you can finally hear what that big announcement is. I don’t want to give it away, and if I keep typing I know I will. So, without further ado, here is the latest episode. You can also listen on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and other platforms which are all linked in my profile.
I hope this announcement will be as exciting for you all to hear as it was for Becca and I to record. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Today, dear one, my episode is one of the most serious I’ve ever recorded. If you’ve never listened to my podcast, or any podcast, before please let this one be the first one you hear. Joining me on the program is a very close friend, who is remaining anonymous due to the graphic nature of the discussion. It was due to deep concern, and love for the brethren, that she decided to come and speak publicly against pornography, lust, and adultery. This was not something she took lightly, or did gladly, but that she was compelled to do so for the glory of God. Please, my friends, if you could pray for her, for her family, and for this episode, I would be so grateful.
Also, although I say this every time, I mean it much more today, please share this. Statistically, you know someone struggling with this. You sit next to a broken hearted wife, and shame filled husband, each Sunday. Please share this episode so that leaders in the church can hear this, and so that those struggling can hear that there is actually an answer. There are ways to avoid this sin. There are plans, battle plans, that you and your family can put into place to guard your heart. You don’t have to continue to feel helpless, and you don’t have to feel alone. If you’re the wife that has dealt with this, you will be blessed by my friends story. If your the husband that has dealt with this, you will find good, Biblically sound, solid advice in this episode. If you’re the leader, elder, teacher, or pastor that has not addressed this, please listen and reconsider. Share, like, comment, subscribe, you can find all the links in my profile thanks to the kind help of a dear sister. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Hello, dear ones, I hope this post finds you all doing well. Before we get into the meat and potatoes I would just ask for prayer. Today at 2:00 pm Pacific time two more Mormons have scheduled to come and share their religion with me. I don’t have long left in this particular city, so hopefully I can spend what little time left I have sharing the Gospel with these boys. I would greatly appreciate your prayers as I talk with them tomorrow. My weakness is great, but I have a God that is strong in my weakness. Thank you all for your prayers!
Next week is going to be a bit of a weird week for the podcast. Come Monday a very serious, and sobering discussion will drop regarding pornography. A close family friend, who is remaining anonymous, is joining me on the program to discuss her families trials with this issue. She details how her husbands addiction was brought about, how it effected their marriage, and what the church did to help, or what they did not do. She also gives some great advice for families in the midst of this battle, and some strategic plans for mortification of this sin. Thursday is a surprise episode with a big announcement so be on the lookout for that.
Becca Berean has some recommendations for you this week, starting with this awesome Instagram account here. Each of the posts come with a blog style description that will bless you! She also wanted to share this specific episode of Theology Gals which helped give a different perspective on Harry Potter and books like it, listen here. Another recommendation is this excellent video by Justin Peters that my wonderful co-host Becca Berean sent for this weeks list. In this brother Peters explains the recent video clip of Benny Hinn. I hope you will all join me in praying for Benny, that he would come to true repentance. Thank you Becca for all your help with this weeks MEGA List! My recommendation is that you check out this new blog, which has some great articles about using Scripture throughout your home, sort of like Susie did for Charles.
For book reviews, today for all the moms I’d like to review Risen MotherHood, which you can get here. This book is helpful for believing moms who feel overwhelmed. It would even be a great gift for pastors wives, or for husbands that want to understand the struggle their wives are going through. The publisher sent me a copy of the book for a giveaway, so all my readers who like this article will be unwittingly added to the drawing. You can get extra entries by going to my other social media pages and liking, sharing, and tagging. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
I have two suggestions for you today, friends, and both came from Becca Berean. The first is that you watch this video that has not aged well, and enjoy a little humor this Friday. The second is that you never buy this game, but that you bask in the knowledge that it does, in fact, exist. As does this one, which made me think immediately about our brother-in-Christ over at ExCatholicForChrist. Sometimes you just need a good laugh, yesterday was one of those days where everything was extra difficult, and I needed a good laugh. I hope this has provided that for you all. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Dear ones, I am so sorry that it took so long for this episode to drop today. There were some technical difficulties this morning. It’s available now. In this episode my husband and I talk about the religions we grew up in, and how they resemble one another. We go into detail about the roots of the New Age movement and how it’s connected to the Word of Faith movement. I hope that this conversation will be edifying, education, and entertaining. We tried to lighten up this heavy subject to avoid moving into the Twilight Zone mood. I in no way want to feed into the modern obsession with the paranormal, but instead want to raise the alarm about these connections and the concern I have for the infiltration into the church.
You can listen to the podcast on iTunes, Podbean, YouTube, GooglePlay, Spotify, and CastBox all of which are linked here. Following that link you can also see my other social media platforms to get connected to. If you enjoyed this episode please don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, and share! As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.

My favorite song of theirs is “IWillTrustMySaviour Jesus” and I didn’t spell saviour wrongeither, that’s how our Aussie friends spell it down under😉.You will love these guys! Check them out:
New Artist Spotlight:Breezy Tulipis amazing artist I came across on Instagramand ABSOLUTELY love everything she has created. Her artwork is so whimsical and inspiring. She has amazing prints and other gifts(some great ideas for Christmas *wink *wink)in her shop online.Visit her webpage:
Best YouTube Clip:Hands down this goes to the recent confession of Benny Hinn, saying he will rebuke those that try ask for moneyfor a blessing, miracle, health etc. This is such a comfort to hear and let us all pray thatmore truth getsshowntoBenny Hinn. Soli Deo Gloria! All the Glory to God!!!
Not only did Becca find these wonderful links, dear friends, she also created the most of the graphics for this post! Please join me in praying for my sister-in-Christ that God would continue to grow her in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God daily for her faithfulness. As an update for next weeks AfterThought posts, Lord willing, Monday I’ll be dropping Contradictions co-hosted by Pastor Jim. On Thursday I’ll drop New Age Infiltration co-hosted by my very own hubby. If you’ve missed previous episodes you can catch up on iTunes, Podbean, Google Play, Spotify, and now YouTube. Don’t forget to subscribe, like, comment, and share beloved. But first, a little laughter for you all…
My recommendations for you today, dear ones, start with Women of the Table, the podcast/blog that I shared on Wednesday. These ladies are relatable and entertaining while they tackle difficult subjects. My second is this article from ICR explaining how the dinosaur tracks we see today confirm a global flood. It’s a fascinating read, and if you all remember back in 2017 my family and I climbed quite a ways to put our hands on one of those tracks. I still hate heights but dinosaurs are worth it. I have, since then, been blessed by two gifts of dinosaur fossils. I love dinosaur fossils almost as much as I hate heights!
While I have no books for you to review this week, although I’m reading through one for next Friday, I do have a suggestion. My suggestion, dear friends, is that those living near coasts check their home insurance to see if it covers problems promulgated by propelled porpoises. The photos and news article warning that dozens had seen dolphins carried inland by 185mph winds are now being considered satire, but it was funny while it lasted. Have a wonderful Saturday, I’ll be back writing on Sunday. Another huge thanks to Becca for all her help, and to all my readers who have been tremendously supportive of the new podcast! As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Today, dear ones, I noticed that YouTube had approved the podcast, now the episodes of AfterThought are available on iTunes, Podbean, Google Play, CastBox, Spotify, and YouTube! Please go and support the podcast by subscribing, liking, commenting, and sharing the new YouTube link. Hopefully next week the new website will be launched where you can find all these links in one nice, neat little place.
Today’s episode was co-hosted by Becca Berean. We discussed Yoga, the Hindu roots, the connection to idols within the poses, and the chants. I hope that this episode will show exactly why Christians should not be practicing yoga. If you know someone who is a professing believer that practices yoga please share this episode with them so that they can hear the dangers behind what is seemingly an innocent form of exercise. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Today, dear ones, I dropped the latest episode of AfterThought. I had the privilege of interviewing author Zack Knotts on his new book Majesty Sunrise. You may remember, beloved, that I posted about Mr. Knotts testimony not long ago. If you missed it you can read it here, or listen to the latest episode where he goes through it. He also gives encouragement for those coming out of the Word of Faith, and some great advice for new believers.
I pray that this episode will be edifying and encouraging to you, friends. You can find all the links to the platforms AfterThought is features on, as well as links to connect with me on Social Media, here. Just as a reminder, AfterThought is available on Podbean, iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play. I’m still working on getting it up on YouTube. There’s going to be some major changes happening with the podcast in the next few weeks, so please join with me in praying that God will be glorified. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Hello, dear ones, I hope this post finds you all doing well. Monday on AfterThought, Lord willing, I’ll be dropping an episode interviewing Zack Knotts regarding his new book Majesty Sunrise. During this episode Zack details his testimony, how he came out of the Word of Faith movement, how he came to know and love the beautiful Lindsey Davis, and why he chose to write a book of Biblically led poetry. He even reads one of his poems during the episode, which will be a blessing to listeners as it was very moving. Thursday I’ll be dropping my latest episode co-hosted by Becca.Berean where we discuss the history, and religious rituals of yoga. We get deep into the meaning of poses, and chants, with Becca sprinkling the episode with Scriptural truth.
Replacing recommendations this week, I need to offer a public apology. After a beloved brother in Christ sent me some information about Dr. Don Whitney’s connection to Catholic mystics and contemplative prayer advocates, I pulled my interview with him. If you’re interested in learning more about this topic, you can read about it here, here, and here. While I do believe that Dr. Whitney is genuine, I can’t promote someone so closely tied to dangerous practices. I hope you will all accept my sincere apology for not properly vetting the authors I bring on. In the future, I will be far more careful.
For reviews today I have a new trailer for you all from one of my favorite podcasts Cave to Cross Apologetics. This trailer is for their upcoming interview, which you can watch here. Also, I want to recommend Nancy Pearcey’s book Love Thy Body. This book is very helpful to understand the culture we live in today from the Biblical perspective. You can find it here. As this deals with issues of sexuality, it is not a book for young readers. I wouldn’t suggest this book for believers younger then 18. It’s not an inappropriate book, but it does deal with serious sin.
My suggestion today, friends, is that we join together in praying for Florida. Many brothers and sisters in Christ will face this hurricane, some have already evacuated. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
I had the absolute honor to speak to one of my favorite scientists, and hero’s in the faith, astrophysicists and apologist Dr. Jason Lisle regarding his book The Ultimate Proof of Creation. Dr. Lisle’s book is available on Amazon here. During our interview, Dr. Lisle also discussed his next book, an upcoming project on Flat Earthism, and answers a question for Kayleigh. I hope that this interview helps create an interest in apologetics and science.
You can find AfterThought at Podbean, iTunes, and all other major carriers by following this link. That link will also connect you with all my social media accounts. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
Today, dear ones, I dropped the 12th episode of AfterThought. This time, as promised, I’m joined by Becca the Meme Master Berean. We discussed growing up in the Word of Faith movement, her involvement in Bethel/Hillsong type churches and schools, and why their teaching is so dangerous. Becca graciously shares her desire to see those who are lost and hurting within this movement saved out of it.
I pray that this episode will be a blessing to you all. Please join me in praying for Becca’s family as she lovingly shares truth with them. You can find this episode at my host site Podbean, iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify. If you’re enjoying the podcast please like, comment, subscribe, and share to help get the word out. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
