February 14th, 2020 MEGA List included movie reviews, recommendations for journals, books, and good content to watch. Not the mention a special suggestion at the end.
The MEGA List
Hello, and Happy Valentines Day, dear ones! I hope this post finds you all doing well. Do you have big plans with your loved ones today? We are going to push most of our fun off until tomorrow. My hubby worked a nightshift last night and has a doctors appointment early this morning before he can rest. Please pray for him, he had a rare reaction to a new medication. We would greatly appreciate your prayers, as the appointment today will include running tests to make sure no long term damage was done. With that being said, let’s dig right into the MEGA list for today. We’ve got some really exciting things to discuss, and review. One thing I keep failing to mention is that we’re also talking about this list each Friday over on our YouTube channel. Sometimes we even take it live, although I’m still learning how to do that.
For today’s recommendations I want to start with a very unique item I found for sale on Amazon. It’s a sermon notes journal…for kids! Isn’t that cute? Kayliegh takes notes during Sunday service, either in the booklet prepared or in her own notebook. I think it would be really fun for her to have her own, and these are created by The Biblical Creative, a wonderful friend and Instagrammer. You can find more at her website, thebiblicalcreative.com. We’d also like to recommend you accept our invitation to follow our book club over at Goodreads, by following this link here. You can keep up with what we’re reading, and read about upcoming book club options happening on with our Patreon’s. One last recommendation is that you check out our Q&A Mini Episodes over on our YouTube channel, and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss anymore fun content.
There is a new LivingWaters movie I’d like to review today, titled When It’s Okay to Kill Your Mother, which you can watch free here. In this film Ray Comfort is going through the college campus asking about a man who was not convicted for murder, after tossing his mother over the balcony. Why wasn’t he convicted? She was dying, and suffering, so the judge ruled it was okay to kill her. In full LivingWaters fashion, this is a Gospel tract in movie form. Not only does it deal with the depravity of man, and the sanctity of life, but it presents the Gospel. They’ve also re-released their movie on suicide, owing to the fact that the previous title did not seem to have fit with what they were hoping to achieve. You can watch You Are Not Alone: Hope for Your Depression here.
If you’ve followed Paul Washers HeartCry Missionaries Youtube channel you may have already heard that they are going to be releasing some different content than their usual. For this, they’ve created a new channel, called Heartcry Films. My suggestion for this weekend is that you subscribe to their new channel, and pray for their team as they prepare to launch this new part of their ministry. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
