Self-Love is Toxic – With Allie Beth Stuckey

Hello beloved, I hope this post finds you all doing well! I am very excited about today’s episode. I had the absolute joy of talking with Allie Beth Stuckey from Relatable, discussing her new book You’re Not Enough and That’s Okay. I’ve still been so behind on everything that I’m supposed to be doing, still trying to get caught up and getting back into the flow of homeschooling after having COVID, so I am very thankful that this episode was recorded way back in March. If you watch on Youtube you’ll notice that my equipment is different, hopefully it won’t be too weird, it was weird for me during the editing. It was also exciting to see how many things have changed over the past several months! My husband has done a fantastic job of making the podcast a new gifting opportunity, after 12 years of marriage it gets a little difficult to find things to buy one another so he’s got a whole new hobby to gift me in. The mic, headphones, new computer, new lights…it’s made a huge difference. But you won’t see, or hear, that in this episode because it was recorded way back before all that. Also, I was so nervous/excited to talk with Allie that I didn’t do a very good introduction.

Allie was so gracious, very fun to talk with, and even though she had a lot going on she gave me even more time than her publishers had promised so I hope our conversation will be a blessing to you all. I’ll be posting a book review on Wednesday, although you’ll all pretty much know my opinion after watching. Below I’ve included a timestamped outline as well as links to more information about Allie and her new book. Also, if you didn’t get a chance to see last weeks MEGA list, I’m going to link to it here. You can, of course, listen across all major podcasting platforms such as PodbeaniTunesSpotifyGoogle PlayiHeart RadioStitcher, and in video form on Youtube. As always, beloved brethren, be good Berean’s and study to show yourselves approved.
